Privacy Policy & Data Principles
NetScope operates under a strict privacy-first principle: no third-party trackers, no accounts, and strictly on-device processing.
1. Telephony & Cellular RF Data
NetScope reads hardware signal properties (dBm, RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, and cell tower IDs) through Android's TelephonyManager APIs. This data is computed locally on your device to display live diagnostics.
2. Android Location Permissions
Android OS requires location permission (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION) to access cellular tower identifiers. NetScope does not track your continuous physical movement or upload personal location logs.
3. Zero Advertisements & Open Source
NetScope is an open-source utility without marketing trackers, analytics SDKs, or ad monetization frameworks. All code is publicly reviewable on GitHub.
